Tetley Tea Folk return

Given the amount of buzz on here when Monkeh and Al returned to our screens in 2007, I thought I'd post about another advertising revival.

The Tetley Tea Folk are back, starting with this first advertisement which shows an intern (probably) slipping and dropping a tray of tea cups. A tea droplet eventually finds it way into an old cupboard where (for some reason) the Tea Folk have been "stored", or either sleeping, but anyway the tea droplet re-awakens them and then that's the end of the ad.

Nice ad that. Now it makes my Tetley Tea mug look new again!

I hear Lynda Belligham is to return in her former role of advertising Oxo, but I haven't see any more on this?

She advertised Oxo in one of those Great Little Ideas adverts earlier this year.

I'm more of a PG Tips person, but nevertheless it's great to see the Tetley Teafolk back on the telly.
