Colour Bars - Sky 568

Hi all,

There's an interesting 'Streambox Transport' testcard on Sky channel 586 (Gospel Channel) right now, for those who like that sort of thing. Just giving a heads-up for anyone who wanted to capture it!

EDIT: As is rightly pointed out, these are colour bars, not a testcard.

Consider this the obligatory "those are colour bars not a testcard" post.

From the EPG it looks like they should be rebroadcasting a news channel at the moment, so presumably they are uisng Streambox kit to do it, or were before it fell off air.

Sky Platform Control don't take kindly to that kind of thing - they've been known to remove channels from the EPG for transmitting bars for an extended period.

I think bars are preferable to the televangelist selling "miracle spring water" that was just on when I flicked over.

Are you trying to imply this holy water is a scam? Blasphemer!

Funny, I found a list of channel changes from 1st May on a516digital.com which says Gospel Channel is 586, but the Gospel Channel website says it's 587. Love World TV claims they're on 586, but other lists put them at 587.
