Heard this from Applause Store. Isn't the radio show enough?

His five show that was on about two years ago didn't go down too well. Although that was with Gaby Roslin...

If this is going to be primetime, i can see it working very well. A good bit of competition with Parkinson i think it might be. Everyone compares Jonathan Ross to Parkinson but i think they are two entirely different shows. Put Wogan up against Parkinson, that'll be a proper blood bath.

Hmm....How come this news has gone unnoticed? Confused 'Wogan' was a fairly high profile show, i would've thought it's return would be quite a big thing.

Incidently: Terry's new 'Children In Need' co-hosts have been named. They are Natasha Kaplinsky & Fearne Cotton Rolling Eyes

Well with Parkinson gone, Wogan seems a good chat show to bring back.

oh dear, two of the most annoying people on BBC TV. All we need is for Ian Wright to be a roving reporter and they'll have the full set.

Children in Need has gone downhill a bit the last few years, just a 7 hour version of Top of the Pops, especially with Fearne Cotton presenting!

I through he retired back in 1990 ?

Maybe I should change this slightly
I’m sure terry said he was retiring for chats show to do more work on his radio show on BBC radio2,

I agree. With the news of Gabby's departure i was hoping they'd take the opportunity to maybe look at the show and do away with the TOTP format with dancing BBC news readers & soap stars thrown in here and there. But it seems not. This years highlights are -again!- singing and dancing news readers & soap stars. *yawns*. It works though so i suppose that's all that really matters.

Also Re: CIN. i was surprised Comic Relief didn't cash in on the trendy wristband phenomenon this year. CIN have though..you can buy your yellow & red hooped wristbands from Boots.

Yay! It will be great to have Tel back in a prime time slot, he's a fantastic broadcaster.

That's why the show failed, I thought his programme on Five was fantastic, better than the usual crap offered by the other sides at that time of the day, Terry was rather unpredictable and he got on very well with Danny Baker who would always balls it up at the best of times, especially the 'Soap in the Microwave' incident.
