Sad year for TV personalities, we've lost Bob Holness, Max Bygraves and now Terry Nutkins.

Such a shame, he was a giant of kids' TV when I was little.
Anyone know if the original Really Wild theme is online anywhere? That was a cracking tune but it doesn't appear to be on You Tube anywhere.

Not quite later series had a completely different tune. David Lowe was responsible for many of the mixes don't think he did the original though.

Yeah the original theme was last used around the turn of the century, although it was barely recognisable by that point, just the chord sequence really that survived from the original.

Which technically is just stolen from other websites

We're all still awaiting a full clean version of that funky theme tune though.

Haha! Not sure how clean we'll find something from over 25 years ago...
There was most of an episode on YT at some point from around 1990ish (it had Andi Peters in the brick-wall broom cupboard before hand) with the tiger titles they had for a number of years, and also that weird game where two presenters would sit on slides above a gunge tank and slowly slide down if they got wildlife questions wrong. I thought I'd imagined that for many years until that turned up online!

I'd forgotten the gunge slide game came from the Really Wild Show, always remembered the game but not the show.
