It's called
Christmas,
NOT Xmas, which makes the whole thing sound like the celebration of
an unpleasant itchy skin disorder! It's the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, not Jesus X!
Birth of Jesus Christ my arse. It's all about the food and presents.
All about food and presents my hairy arse. It's all about big companies making as much money as they can over a few months.

...er, from people buying presents and food from those 'big companies'

On Breakfast on Xmas Day it is just one presenter. Last year Bill did Xmas Day and Sian did New Years day.
Bill is a very Christmasy person -
"Good morning, and a very warm welcome to Breakfast from BBC News, Im Bill Turnbull and... it's Christmas Day"
Usually BBC2 doesn't show any Learning Zone programmes over the Christmas fortnight. I really hope they don't show it this Christmas as I think it would be very poor scheduling if they do. BBC2 shown during the Christmas 2001 fortnight a nightly season of classic film noir thrillers and old B horror movies. I hope they do something like this again this Christmas. The Learning Zone is on far too much as well. On Sunday's it starts at 2am. I think it should start at 2am every night instead of 12.30pm. That way BBC2 could offer more quality by showing a late night movie everynight offering much more choice for the viewers.
I think what itv should have done (as it's most probably too late to do it now) is to do a production of the Larry Trotter book, never read it, I just saw it in the bookshop.
I wonder if a panto has been lined up for itv1 this year. The ones in the past have been great, and if I'm not mistaken they repeated them all on itv2 last year leading up to christmas.
Did Bill really wear the hat?!!! Yes, it looks absolutely perfect for Christmas, although to have both Bill AND Sian wearing silly hats would be better. I suppose it's probably too expensive to get them both in.
