There was no sign of any of the bumper TV Guides in any of the shops in my area today - maybe they just didnt put them out and have them in the stock rooms as they still have this weeks and next weeks out - how crap!

Don't think this has been mentioned anywhere else, but BBCi (On NTL anyway) have started running out a promo today looking at Comedy at Christmas, showing the highlights of the comedy available on BBC One, Two, Three and Four, it only lasts a few minutes but it is very good. The clips from The Office and My Family are very funny, and for comedy it looks like the BBC is the winner this christmas.

But for those who want to know

Dead Ringers Special will be on 22nd December and 2 January at 9pm, same with Little Britian, but half an hour later.

But even more bizzarely a musical of Three Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, which looks like something decent.

Christmas Radio Times is now available (in London at least). Good news: overnight closedowns on BBC2 EVERY NIGHT! Bad news: ITV Nightscreen timeslots filled by CITV during Christmas week. Parents will not be amused!

It's also available in Gateshead (WHSmith, Green Quadrant, MetroCentre and Asda in MetroPark West is where I've seen it), but interestingly the 13-19th December issue says it's not out until Tuesday, which would be where the 13-19th would be if not for Christmas.

There's further errors in the RT that I've noticed, maybe they should have taken a bit longer with it and waited until Tuesday to release it.

One being that it says that the ITV News on Christmas Day will include Regional News and Weather!.

ITV seem to have many full length bulletins over xmas, Not on the main days, but on the 29th/30th there's a full news hour at 6pm which is a bit unusual.

Is that with or without regional news? As there is a point between Christmas and New Year where we still get a full regional news bulletin, but they look at events of the past year. I remember Granada did this in 1999, as we had Granada Tonight pratically most days over Christmas, looking at 40 Years of Granada News and events in the North West, with poor So Rahman working overkill.

Well some of us havent seen this tv guide yet, its so unfair that Wales havent had it when it seems everywhere in England has.

Can anyone tell me what regional slots there will be on ITV1 for Sunday 21st and 28th December? Thanks

Yes it's with regional news from 6-6.30pm. Digiguide shows that some of these will be news reviews etc, but Radio Times just says "Regional News Magazine - See Monday 22nd for details" as normal.

UTV though are showing 6pm UTV News, 6.05pm The Planet's Funniest Animals, 6.30pm ITV Evening News!!

If you really want to know, from Digiguide, on the 21st you've got Waterfront at 12.30, Soccer Sunday at 2.00 and Tidy at 5.45. On the 28th you've got Dylan Thomas - Man or Myth at 11.30 for an hour and Your Century at 5.55

I also notice that ITV1 Wales are showing Moving Day at 5.30pm over xmas instead of Monkey Business. Did HTV miss Moving Day when everyone else saw it?

HTV missed a week of Moving Day about a month ago to show a local program! Isnt Monkey Business a Meridian programme though?
