Although I've found the replay section, I'm getting a jarring pixelated (at times) picture. Not dissimilar to what DTT looks like in bad weather.

A bandwidth issue? My so called 4Mb connection rarely gets up to 2Mb.

Ok I'm so Embarassed ed now,I thought "teleport" was on the tv not ur pc?

Its on both television and on the internet.

I was watching the set top box (tv) version.

I don't know how teleport works but I figured it may be streaming compressed video to my STB. That presumably requires bandwidth.

It works the same way as Homechoice - there is only one videostream for Teleport from the cable headend to your box. You request a programme and it is played down that stream to you.

VOD in general is a quite good bit of logical thinking.... you can only watch one thing at a time so why send 400 channels to every subscriber? Of course with Teleport you have both worlds - loads of channels coming down a wire and a single channel of VOD. And it's something that Sky can't do at the moment, the nearest they can get is 'Near Video On Demand' i.e. Sky Box Office

Telewest are supposed to be launching a PVR:

Not only does it have 3 tuners (unlike Sky+ which has only 2) but it is also HD ready. Hopefully it will survive the merger
