If/When Telewest and NTL merge it will take a heck of a long time for them to agree or be able to provide a common platform. NTL still have 2 diffrent digital platforms - original NTL and ex-Cable and Wireless

As for Nickelodeon, they seem to have gone down the MTV route of providing nothing but cheap imported programming that takes them away from their original premise and thinking that they can demand what they like for carriage.

Well if you take into consideration that they are both owned by "Viacom UK" (And i think sky has something to do with nick also) then you know who is really to blame.

Arrow this happened with telewest and the history channel a few years ago and they removed the channel and restored it within a few weeks.

Arrow has any one seen the new message on the channels, as ever first on the tv forum before the major networks

Arrow i think that telewest and ntl been trying to agree a deal in secret

Amusing how TW ask you to phone Nick and Nick ask you to phone TW!

Wonder why the explanatory messages have disappeared!

they both think that the other is to blame, telewest are saying that nick cost to much and nick are saying that they are an avrage price of a tv channel and that they will lose 1.5 million viewers if they contine like this.

it just will go on and on blaming each other, someone has to make the first move.

also who the hell are homechoice ?? i have never heard of them before

Homechoice came out about 2000/2001 although I know nobody who owns it. I think it is a bit like a Sky Plus box although I may be wrong Confused

nick are trying a new style of advertising, on mtv hits for sky, come on a music channel at 22:30 ?? what child under 10 would be watching a music channel at 22:30 when there parents have control of the tele,
i know it has already been said but asking kids to beg their parents to get sky is a bit unfair towards the parents and ntl: for that matter, ntl:home shows the nick network and they do not get to be part of the advert and homechoice who i have never heard of get on to the ad, i think i see some trouble between ntl and nick coming up aswell ........
