I have a Super Blockbusters game, complete with Gold Run. I also have a Gold Run travel game. Also have the 50 years of ITN book, purchased from a pound shop. I also have "White Powder Christmas" on a VHS tape picked up from a house clearance.

I have a 'Watch Gus on TSW' badge from the early 1980's, along with a signed photo of myself and Mr Honeybun.

Also when at Longleat in 2001 I picked up an HTV pen with 'www.htvwest.com' on it - these can't have lasted long as on-screen promotion of that URL ended before the years was out.

If it isn't too much effort, could you have a look through any photo albums you or members of your family may have and then post a small selection of photos of you wearing the yellow "Move It" sweatshirt here? Thanks.

As requested, here's a photo of me wearing my yellow "Move It" sweatshirt. This was taken at my eighteenth birthday party in autumn 1989.

Can anyone please tell me how I could have got that picture appearing in my message? The best I've managed is a tiny version of it in the message.

Thanks for posting. I still don't remember the show. Hope you had a nice birthday though.

Nice collection.

I love the Challenge stuff. I always wanted one of those Challenge TV phones. Looking at that photo they look quite cheap though. Is that a 'Tumble Tower' I see there?

TV Mug Review

Avago
This is a basic mug with the Avago logo and the words 'channel 235 satellite' printed on it at 90° from the handle and again on the opposite side. I can fit two fingers through the handle and it feels quite comfortable to hold. This mug was made in England.

game in tv
This mug is psychically the same as the Avago one reviewed above. Like the Avago mug it is made in England by TAMS. This mug differs from the Avago mug in that the artwork is different on each side. One side has the game in tv logo with the words 'Play Zone' below while the other side has the words 'love your red button' with the word red in a larger font and coloured appropriately. This side also displays the url www.gamein.tv. This currently redirects to the Pokerzone website, which at the time of writing has been 'HackeD By Furkan AYYILDIZ'.

Challenge TV
A bit of thought has gone in to this mug. As well as having the standard logo on two sides like so many others it is also in Challenge TV yellow. However, where this mug really stands out is in the handle design. For right handed coffee drinkers the handle is in the shape of a question mark. It isn't quite the Challenge TV logo but its a nice touch. The handle manages to be a great talking point without impacting on the mugs functionality, I could easily get two fingers in to the handle. Unfortunately, for left handers the question mark appears mirrored but at least onlookers at a left handed Ovaltineys convention would still see the correctly oriented question mark.

Big Game TV
This is not like any other mug I have seen or reviewed before. Its made of plastic and if you added a lid it would make a perfect beaker for a toddler to drink from. Obviously Big Game TV didn't have as much money to spend on their mugs as the comparatively rich Challenge TV. Maybe they can be forgiven for the cheap materials, but a well thought out design costs nothing. The mugs major failing is in the positioning of the logo. Instead of being 90° and 270° from the handle as you might expect, this mugs one and only logo is positioned at 180° from the handle. In other words, the logo is opposite the handle. Neither the drinker or a head-on observer is going to see this logo. I guess the only person who would be happy with this mug is someone sitting to the left of a right handed user or to the right of a left handed user. Perhaps thats not fair, this mug does have its good points. I could easily get three fingers through the handle and its worth noting that the logo on this mug contains no less than 6 colours.

Overall, If I was to choose a mug to drink from, I'd have to go with the Challenge TV one. The reality is, I have had these mugs for a number of years and have never used any of them and I probably never will as they are all now incredibly dusty. None of these mugs are available to buy or win any more so this review was pretty pointless. Thanks for reading anyway.

I have most of this Avago stuff too apart from the novelty flying disk and I think I am missing one of the AVAgossip magazines. I also own a photo of Avago presenter Charlie Gane upon which she has written ' Dear David, Do One ' which was nice of her. I think that may be a 100% unique item.http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/gane.jpg
Is it wrong to hold on to this stuff?

How did you get the Avago stuff BTW? Were you a regular viewer/player/texter? Might I have heard some of your contributions on the channel?

Camera phone quality isn't great, but this is a genuine ivory / red era BBC News mousemat. I also have a current BBC News umbrella, BBC mug, BBC pens, etc etc.
