Can it really be true? A Television Presenter for sale? Apparently, yes it IS true. It's included in an advert provided by Google after all! But would someone really sell their sole? You decide!

Of course not! It is one of those automatic things companies do. Type in some show or person on Google. (e.g. If you want info on the Pope, you'll see on the side "Pope on eBay")

Absolute rubbish.

EDIT: Just noticed it mentions "New and used TV presenters" Also, if you have common sense, it has no results on eBay.

I agree Techy, but you know what geeks are like. They're as miserable as sin unless they are having a LAN party or some other equally boring mutual geek-fest event! Rolling Eyes

on the subject of LAN parties, what is one exactly? An acquaintance of mine who I happen to have on my MSN contact list often has his display name set to something along the lines of "Chris - next LAN 1st April" or something like that.

As far as I was aware, "LAN" stands for local area network..... is this some form of party where everyone just stays on their arse at home and socialises by linking up their computers rather than meeting up in person? Rolling Eyes sorry I know this is off topic but just curious!

LAN Party - where a group of gamers gather together in a big sweaty room, and network their computers up then play a multiplayer game such as Counterstrike - great fun, i've been to a few myself

I am constantly getting the Television Presenters for sale ad on my website but I had to laugh out loud yesterday when Google flashed up:

"Wives for Sales - Search 15 engines to buy wives"

All this from a Mr & Mrs page, what would Derek Batey say? Wink

I noticed that - and sent it to Look North a few weeks ago asking if it might make good banter material.....
