The announcer on STV has just done her link into The Adventures Of English.

"In half an hour Whose Right Is It Anyway looks at whether or not it is right to go to war -that's in just over an hour -but now Melvyn Bragg goes on The Adventure Of English ". She sounds bored out of her mind and doesn't even know if the programme is on in an hour or half an hour .
This announcer also seems to always have a cold and sounds very flat in her delivery.

At last! An announcer who has a voice to match the programmes (and schedules!).

Another mistake to add to the thread, this time on BBC2, just as The Simpsons was coming to an end we got this strange gurgling noise... which turned out to be the beginning of the soundtrack for the next ident (Fish)...

Happened as well at the end of Weakest Link, we got a bit of the fire ident.

After a gap of about 20 seconds between the continuity announcement and the start of Dilbert, the end credits were then v/o'd by the announcer proclaiming 'Hello and welcome to FTN', followed by a plug for their first programme of the evening. Oh dear...

UK Gold had a nice liitle cock up with there ECP at the end of Goodnight Sweetheart earlier, they minimise the credits, and they should have played a trailer for Only Fools and Horses, but it was left black and the audio on it was to a Christmas CD advert. (If you want to see how great they are put +1 on at 9.15pm)
