If they do some of the projection stuff they did at Buckingham Palace it should be wonderful.

They tried some of that on the front of TV Centre to launch BBC1's Christmas branding and it didn't seem to work that well. Maybe the area around Buckingham Palace is darker

The arguments for and against are finally out in the open (in the public domain) , now we wait and see just how long-sighted these plans are. I suspect in another two years we will be looking at a huge shortage of studio & production space in London.

That was caused by a bank of freezing fog descending on Wood Lane - you could see the projection diffusing in it. They put the rehearsal on YouTube and it looked a lot clearer.

I was about to question why there's still that silver BP ship in the old garden - but it looks as though some of the photos were taken in 2011.

That painting outside TC6 is from an old Live and Kicking Mr Blobby phone in game!

I'm wondering how long it will take for someone to spot the error in one of the captions on that Ariel page Smile

BBC Two idents indeed.

There was a giant '2' numeral kicking around the Broadcast Centre for a while - I'm not sure where it's got to.

While the BBC THREE Slugs are there, there is the giant 2 just to the side of them too. Suppose thats what the caption is referring too.

If we over analyse it though (and being on this forum, why not) the blobs look like they are 'having fun' as the caption says, the 2 however looks like it's had enough of life Smile Also it does say 'idents' plural Smile Sorry as I said overanalysing, but that's what we're here for Smile

Seeing all those old props and memorabilia lying around, I hope that they get rescued, rather than just being dumped, which seems to have happened far too often in the past.

There's a sign up in that room reading "Please stop taking things from here. this area is being monitored."

So there is, I didn't notice it on its side there.

That silver ship and another by the same artist of Mabel are now apparantly displayed in the foyer of Media City. Whether they are or not....
