I remember a thread a while back about various buildings used in the television world, which I found really interesting, and it'd be good to start a new one.

This thread won't be aimed at any particular company or building, but open to them all.

Current buildings, old buildings, demolished buildings.

Pictures would be great. Programmes made there, you get the idea.

Hopefully this will be an interesting thread.

But now, I expect I will get a reply saying how this is a rubbish idea, or that there's a similar one, or something else that I haven't thought of.

Cheers.

It is their if someone posses something...
Their building.

It is there if its like...
It is over there.

It is they're if it is they are...
They're going to knock it down.

Hope that helps, hope you're not patronised.
And I hope this doesn't turn into a grammar thread.

Anyway, in the 'Who owns Central?' thread there was a link that linked to an ATV logo website and on the last page was a tour of the ATV/Central Broadstreet television centre. Cant find the link in the thread anymore can anyone remember what the website was called?

Have a look at www.tvstudiohistory.co.uk It's somewhat London-based, but quite fascinating with some good pictures there...

The best stuidos has to be HSS Studios where they used to make Family Affairs before it moved to Bosun House (spelling) with The Bill. It was basically a unit on an industrial estate, HSS stood for High Standard Studios, lol Smile

I know, you wouldn't expect it to come from where it does, the studio looks like a converted cow shed to me, let alone the waiting areas.
