Teletext Ticker

Notice now that Teletext on Freeview has a ticker which actually looks quite nice, though the scrolling animation is a bit pixelly, but still perfectly readable.


There are ones for News, Football and Racing which can be found at the relevant indexes - with two variations of each - ticker and alert.

The ticker one is a purple strap along the bottom of the screen, which is far more discrete than previous "in-vision" graphics, while the alert is the same but when not in use is just "><" in the bottom right corner.

You can also now navigate directly from the ticker to another page, rather than having to back up.

Yeah it's been on there quite a while. I quite like it.

And a little thing people don't know is that you can change the position of it from bottom to top by pressing up or down.
