Just thought I would provide a clearer screen cap...

The joined up itv logo is used now purely for corporate purposes.
On-screen, it is always shown as blocks, on itv1, 2 and 3.
What is unclear is whether this Teletext service will appear on 1, 2 and 3 or just 1 - in which case you should wonder why the itv1 logo wasn't used.
Who knows?!

May I be contentious and say that your capture isn't really all that much clearer than the first capture. Just done in a technically more 'pure' way, that's all.
I've captured both with a capture card and by taking digital photos off-screen, and to be honest the off-screen photos in some cases look better. For the purposes of illustration, the first capture did its job more than adequately, and the text is more readable.
In fact, whilst I was still waiting to set up my video capturing (I moved recently) I took some off-screen photos of the Doctor Who episode the other night and most of them are actually good enough to use as desktop wallpaper without any noticeable quality loss.

I can't get this yet from the Winter Hill transmitter, though I'm not sure if that's due to the ITV News re-engineering. Anyways, from "A.N. Other Televisual Forum", the holding screen is currently available on all ITV channels, including ITV News, indicating that it will be on all of them at launch. As a curiosity though, does it have it's own EPG number like Teletext on 4? If not, why does Teletext on 4 need one?

The original press release said that it will be available on all ITV channels, 1, 2 (which already have some service via ITVi on Sky), 3 and ITV News. And then I presume they will extend it to ITV4, if and when that launches.
