Well whatever little 'club' you have setup, i will only accept advice or instruction from a moderator or administrator.

As far as i'm concerned this discussion is over.

I agree with Gavin. Quite honestly, only accepting advice from a moderator. Who've you got a choice of there? A robot, Ison and an American.

It's not really a lot to ask for stuff that affects this forum to be discussed here rather than somewhere else is it?

Well that's a lot easier to say when you don't have to administer the site, isn't it Spencer? I'm sure Asa knows what he's doing. Honestly, kids today expect it all laid on a plate. It's only one click away you know. Don't be so demanding and lazy.

And by the way; most of the threads on M247 are exactly the same type as was discussed in the original Lounge, and most are done in a humerous tongue in cheek way.

Don't know about you, but take a look at the stats (I think I'm sounding like Peter Snow on MIllennium Eve in front of the video wall Rolling Eyes ).

In total, 3 users online. 1 hidden, 1 logged in and 1 guest.

I think the figures speak for themselves. Metropol doesn't get as many (potential) visitors as the old lounge would have done. Like it or not, only a handful of users are on at one time and the tumbleweed can be seen rolling, compared to the lots that visit TV Forum in the evening and during the day. Only really early in the morning in the wee hours, during 'rush hour' (7am - 10am) do you get TV Forum's visitor numbers fall into single figures.

I would think it is becouse, people dont want to register on too many forums. Like myself! It was better as part of the main forum

Without getting caught up in this...

Username, password, email address - the only 3 things you are required to give when registering. Takes 5 mins, lasts a lifetime. Most of you have been with TV Forum through the downtime - which in itself required re registration at one point. With almost seemless links between both sites (my thanks to Asa) all it has proven to be is a standing protest by those who didn't like a decision that was taken over their heads.

To be fair on Metropol, you can't generate figures like that consider a day like today what with the presentation topics out there at the moment. It's no wonder there is so many people on here at the moment.

Anyway, the more places to chat to the better.

You know sometimes you can be on here at 5.45am or some such, and there'll be ~

0 registered, 0 hidden and 86 guests

I don't know what that's all about.

More than likely GoogleBot or something. They tend to generate a lot of guest users.

Starting a thread here to explain what it's all about is only one click away as well. Looks like I'm not the only lazy one.

Does anyone know the point of the hidden users facility. What's it for?

It's for users who want to be hidden!
