It would have been helpful if this had been explained on this forum as well. I know TV Forum and Metropol are linked, but not everyone who's interested in TV presentation is as interested in pubic hair shaving and other such Metropol topics. It's not really a lot to ask for stuff that affects this forum to be discussed here rather than somewhere else is it?

That is my thinking too.

Anyway, i looked on Metropol, and all i found was a topic which basically said what posts were in the wrong section. Nothing of real importance.

Perhaps we could get a full explanation in this thread, it would be a lot easier.

Well that's a lot easier to say when you don't have to administer the site, isn't it Spencer? I'm sure Asa knows what he's doing. Honestly, kids today expect it all laid on a plate. It's only one click away you know. Don't be so demanding and lazy.

And by the way; most of the threads on M247 are exactly the same type as was discussed in the original Lounge, and most are done in a humerous tongue in cheek way.

Of course, I would love to be part of the metropol crew....if I was able to access it.
I agree with the notion that bringing things from an external forum and then dragging them into here is somewhat...ungood.

I'm sorry but how dare you be so patronising and rude! If you're going to setup a Forum Watch, the least you could do is explain what you are aiming to do in a thread on THIS forum.

Infact, there isn't even a thread on Metropol either which explains what you are trying to do. So far all i can work out is that you are a self-appointed moderator.

*SENSE OF HUMOUR FAILURE ALERT*

I suggest that you don't take everything on Metropol quite so literally.

If you think a a thread should be created in *This* forum, which is designed for general television discussion not related to news, you clearly cannot understand the way in which both forums carefully allow the placement of topics in the correct forum of their subject.

I think you should take a deep breath, read Sir Nicholas Harvey's book The importance of proper thread placement and then return only when you know how to do things properly. If you cannot read there is an audio version read my Maggie Mash available on amazon.co.uk

A bit off topic but how do I be part of the Tv Forum Watch?

You need to feature the TV Forum Watch logo in your signature and also bring a cake along to our next meeting. James Hatts has already got the Victoria Sponge market cornered, so something like a treacle tart should do it.

Well whatever little 'club' you have setup, i will only accept advice or instruction from a moderator or administrator.

As far as i'm concerned this discussion is over.
