Depends whether his family are willing for it to go out or not I guess. With it being for a good cause (and still 6 weeks away) I suppose the odds are favourable.

Classic clips merged into modern Corrie? The ghosts of Annie Walker, Elsie Tanner and Ena Sharples? Sounds plausible and quite a nice idea. I wonder whether the Jack/Vera ghost story was actually recorded or whether it was just a rumour after all.
