"Table banging" because a planned TV company rebrand (involving one of TV's most legendary brands) doesnt seem to have happened on the previously announced date.

Sure, but there seems to be banging on the table demands because a private company haven't released some branding to the nation. I suppose the press release should have been worded better, as it seemed to me these changes were for the company itself and not the wider public.

I can see how you could interpret it as such from that vague company press release but if this is a mere internal restructure and not a rebranding, reputable media news sites such as Broadcast and Televisual have got the situation horribly confused.

Paragraph 1 from Broadcast article posted:
The Talkback Thames brand will cease to exist from 1 January as chief executive Sara Geater restructures the company to create four label brands under the new umbrella of FremantleMedia UK.

Pretty clear cut.
Broadcast is an industry magazine.
In other words, a reputable source of news.

Good point. What was the copyright year on those shows?

The Britains Got Talent advert for the YouTube auditions uses the TalkbackTHAMES logo.

That also would've been made last year... right after the last series finished, in fact.

They feel very interim, more a placeholder thing until they get actual logos. So, guess some of you will have to wait for the logos still. In the meantime, take these quickly constructed logos until then, may not be representative of final product.

Again, because I know some of you will not hear it and think the end times have come, these aren't the final logos .
