But the press release says in the notes : "BGT is a TalkbackTHAMES production". Surely at least that should say Thames only.

Perhaps this is not the biggest thing on the plates of BGT?

January 2nd, so yes it should. The relaunch was clearly postponed.

So you're saying a branding of the production company is not something that would be considered important in a press release? When that company's previous press release was dedicated to the rebrand and what it meant for the company?

The breaking up of a company into four separate divisions seems a little more than just a change of a logo I'd like to think, such things take time and this is taking longer than they've expected so it's been pushed back. That seems the long and short of it, come back to the thread when they actually have logos rather than the date slipping.

Why are you lot getting so worked up? It's for the company, not the general public. For external purposes who knows, perhaps they'll even hold back on branding publically until the first episode of Britain's Got Talent. People work in weird and mysterious ways.....

No dear, that's God.

People usually work more predictably than that, at least to be consistent with what they say they will do.

Sure, but there seems to be banging on the table demands because a private company haven't released some branding to the nation. I suppose the press release should have been worded better, as it seemed to me these changes were for the company itself and not the wider public.

I can see how you could interpret it as such from that vague company press release but if this is a mere internal restructure and not a rebranding, reputable media news sites such as Broadcast and Televisual have got the situation horribly confused.

Paragraph 1 from Broadcast article posted:
The Talkback Thames brand will cease to exist from 1 January as chief executive Sara Geater restructures the company to create four label brands under the new umbrella of FremantleMedia UK.

Pretty clear cut.

I can only offer my sincere apologies. Forgive my shame.

The point stands.
