Just wondering is T4 Sunday live or not? The fact that Vernon is on that radio at the same time would say no, but then its not always him presenting.

Well, I once saw them telling how much they liked the episode of Friends that had just ended, (they said) while everybody at home had been watching a moviespecial. Sooooooooo...

It's not live the majority of the time, though I believe that 1 a month is live for some reason.

Chris Moyles was on about this last week briefly how Vernon's on Radio 1 at the same time.
Though I doubt he cares that much as he gets two lots of money.

Back in the Ben, Dermot and Margherita era I think that all of the programmes were live, with some pre recorded.

I did prefer it back then, and I don't even know why.

The graphics were quite cheap looking, the set was made on a budget, but the use of that studio (isn't it the staff canteen in the week?), was great.

Plus around this time they had things like Dawson's Creek Day's live from the river, Party In the Park coverage that they presented live throughout the day (even though Channel 4 made them stop at around 6/7) T4 on E4, and even the first T4 Daily on Channel 4 (back in 2001), which went out from a little studio at horsferry road LIVE, before they started jetting around the world to film links for holidays.

I'm not sure whether it's since they moved to the white studio that I've gone off it a little, I'm not sure.
Though Steve & Niketta are keeping the show alive, watching June & Anthony Crank on T4 Saturday was wierd, they both kept stumbling over words and everything.

And once again I've rambled too much!

I was watching today, the link before Popworld seemed live but then the one before the Hollyoaks Omnibus seemed recorded. If it was live waiting 2 and a half hours for the next link would surely be annoying.

Before Tony and June it looked recorded but then after it it seemed live!

To get around the Vernon being two places at once problem, why not just get the others to present every week. They could add Simon Amstell to the team as well, it would surely add something.

They could of course have two in the morning and then have Vernon coming in after 1pm until 5 if it went live.
He must want to keep doing the show aswell as Radio 1, else he would have finished ages ago.

They used to get around the 2 hour wait by popping up every now and then after the ads, at 11 and then 12.

When Margarita hosted she used to leave about 1pm to go off and do her own radio show, leaving Dermot/Ben on his own for the rest of the afternoon (but T4 ended about 2pm then, it nows ends at 5pm!).

As for Tony and June yesterday - how awful was that?

Where do they do Radio 1 and where do they film T4, are they near by?

Tony and June was interesting, The PM certainly didn't come out of it lightly although feelings were so high it was more a case of everyone shouting at him all at once, and Sarpong is no Dimbleby

Radio 1 comes from Broadcasting House in London, where BBC Radio's 1-4 come from and I know T4 used to come from Horseferry Road (Channel 4's HQ), but I think it comes from somewhere else now.

Does Radio 1 come from Broadcasting House? I thought it came from somewhere else down the road.

Doesn't it still come from Horsferry Road? I'm sure that when at it productions took over in 2003 they moved down into the basement (where it all began in 1998), so I presumed that they were still there.

I wonder why they gave the production of T4 links out. I know Channel 4 don't usually produce their own programmes, but these were and still are basically links in between programmes.
