Anyone know if CNNI have anything special planned? The Sky EPG doesn't have anything listed and they're currently showing Design 360, but it would surprise me if they didn't lay on a programme.
Just had a look at the CNN International Newsource website and there's nothing on the feed schedules there suggesting that CNN have anything special planned.
From what I saw earlier, all CNN bothered with was a telephone interview with a correspondent they'd sent over from London. Pretty poor effort on CNN's part.
Yep disappointing, I switched on BBC World upstairs and News 24 downstairs and saw World overlay their own vamp then to Adrian Finegan, while News 24 had their vamp and then to Anna and Chris dissapointed!

Moving away from the political and onto the pres front, what did everyone think of the Swedish set used by Sopel?
Personally, I thought it was an enormous improvement over the usual World and 24 sets. The background and small spotlights seemed such a good combination of the modern and avant garde. Also, being able to see the Swedish crew in the background really added a sense of immediacy to the event.
Hopefully the relaunch will reach these standards, rather than the dull beige backgrounds, garish red astons and mundane direction currently present.
