There has been so much unfounded speculation that I think we can only really trust what we hear from the ITV press office and the more respected insiders on this site...
The information on Wiki has no sources (and doesn't seem to sit right with me), so if there's people willing to go on there and make stuff up... they might be coming here too...
The message in the press seems to be a bit muddled. At one point it seemed to suggest that GMB was to launch tomorrow (Monday) with the announcement made on Friday just gone. Now it has been suggested that Susanna's personal problems have delayed this.
Which raises a few questions if true. Were they genuinely expecting to just change the name of the programme and keep everything else (set/music) the same? And now they've got more time (deciding the leave it until after Easter is wise IMO) will that mean more changes than initially planned?
The anorak in me is praying for the original GMB theme to return!
I highly doubt they would have launched it on Monday with the same set, graphics etc
Presumably they want to distance themselves from the tainted daybreak brand. They have likely been planning the relaunch since September last year, or January at the latest. Imo.
Studio 3 is much bigger compared to 7. It has room for an audience the size of Loose Women. For more information about all studios at the London Studios, and floor plans see below link.

The Mirror reporting that Susanna has been given leave over her relationship woes. Not a great start to the launch of GMB Britain if an announcement has had to be delayed - I bet ITV are fuming. Not great publicity that the press found a profile on a dating website of her Susanna's ex-partner and then a media storm kicks off re her troubled relationship.
Though I seem to remember Christine Bleakley being given "special leave" when it was announced that she was to join ITV - we never saw her on the One Show from that point onwards even though she had months left on her BBC contract.

I would say she's been given leave due to the ITV deal rather than her relationship woes, but I don't think this is a total disaster for GMB. The fact that Susanna is in personal turmoil could work in ITV's favour in the long term. The British public would be more likely to warm to someone who has flaws and low points in life rather than the perma-tanned WAG image Christine had.
Also, contrary to what was predicted earlier in this thread, the press seem to be reporting in sympathy of Susanna.
