Hey,

I recently bought a Samsung LE32A436T - 32'' Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview. However I want to to improve the sound quality but not greatly. I only really want to split the treble and the bass.

So I was wondering if these speakers would work with my TV?

If these speakers wouldn't work with my TV could you recommend me some at a similar price?

I am going to mainly use them for my PlayStation 3.

Thank You!

You might find more advice at the What Hi Fi Forums. This forum is really for the discussion of television presentation, rather than TVs themselves.

That said, I'd personally be surprised if that kind of kit would offer you a huge improvement over the speakers within the TV set. I'm not familiar with the output sockets on a PS3, but unless they have a 5.1 output, I think you'll only get stereo at best. I reckon it'll work though and the fact that there's a subwoofer as part of the system will probably add bassweight, but it probably will be only as good as a cheapo boombox or the sort of stuff you get thrown in with a PC package.

anyhow why ebay?

Asda do a 5.1 system for about £35 which will be backed by a more robust guarantee.
