Surprise Surprise! Davina's BBC Chat Show cancelled.

We, it could show something radically different like new drama, comedy or investigative journalism, Hell, Panorama could even move from Sundays...

Inevitable really.

Davina is an excellent format presenter - but chat was always going to leave her exposed. There is alot of difference between celebrity interviews and interviewing the BB evictees.

I think we all knew it was doomed when the BBC tried to save it with Jordan. That said everything!


There is alot of difference between being a good format presenter and hosting a show based around you - and alot of good presenters get caught out by simply being given the wrong show.

There are only a handful of presenters who can really cope with both format and entertainment based programmes - Ant and Dec are the only ones who spring to mind now!

Example? I suppose you're going to say 'Big Brother'. But trying to find anyone who even actually likes her performance on that is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
