It had to go, even though she tried to defend it - it wasn't just the timeslot that was rubbish!

Really most people knew she was a rubbish interviewer from her performances on Big Brother, so it's amazing that BBC TV would waste so much money on her for a Chat Show.

The whole thing screamed "this is going to be ****!" from the moment it was first announced, didn't it? Davina's lost it.

"This is the BBC, Davina you are no longer live on the BBC, Please do not swear.... Oh go on then, swear all you want, we couldn't give a toss!"

Anyone who has watched Big Brother would know that Davina is the weakest of it's three presenters, notably in the exit interviews.

However, as the primary host of an extremely popular programme one can understand why the BBC took a risk giving her a vehicle.

Davina needs a strong format to balance her lightweight style.

This was a catastrophic choice of show to give her though. It has damaged her reputation and that of the Beeb. Whoever signed that contract certainly shouldn't be getting their bonus this year.

Utter tripe. The BBC should have known what risk it was going to be and should have stuck it on BBC3, at least then they'd been able to clain it was a success

Davina needs an object barrier not a purpose. Don't ask me to explain what I mean by that.

I read the title of this thread a little too quickly! I thought Davina was reviving Surprise Surprise.... I was about get me gun.

Did she ever "have it"?

It's better than some crap on telly nowadays, but Wednesday evening wasn't a very good time for a show like this.
