Not convincing enough for me. The aisles should be narrower, contestants blocked by restocking from cages and the menace of Elsie & Marg having a discussion about traffic wardens adjacent to world foods.

Very good page of information on the previous versions too. It was very naive of me to not realise that that was an original American version until reading that article, especially as the end credits most probably featured a ‘based on...’ making reference to it.

The full trailer for those that haven’t seen it has appeared on ITV2’s YouTube channel:

Thank goodness I thought I mist it, because of all the news today.

And that's why we have catch-up TV.

Across the series an array of celebs will be popping in for a trip round the aisles, including national treasures Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, The Only Way is Essex’s Pete Wicks and Bobby Norris, Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Tommy Fury, Celebs Go Dating’s Tom Read Wilson and Made in Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.

It wouldn't be ITV without shoving a few 'celebs' (I use the term very loosely other than Eeamonn and Ruth!) in!

Does that mean the celebs will be competing with regular people? That would be an interesting dynamic.

Could be that each team is a punter paired with a celeb?

Or a Bullseye style celebrity challenge round?

Tom Read Wilson's claim to fame is a TV show that required him to be famous in the first place? Okay...

Tom originally auditioned for The Voice, then was hired as the receptionist on Celebs Go Dating, then had a regular slot on Big Brother's Bit on the Side...
Capybara and DeMarkay gave kudos
