Could it be Marks and Sparks? They sponsored BGT

Be an expensive shop though for ITV2 standards!

I wonder if Dale and Bobby get Freeview coverage up there in the sky Wink

I hated the 2007 version of the Supermarket Sweep theme:

Although it's very 90's I think it's hard to beat this one:

I've a feeling they might dance it up a bit for Rylan. Or hire Craig David to... Check it ooouuuuttttt!

If I recall, the Co-Op stocked the original Supermarket Sweet set?

Asda then later Somerfield on the original run.

Not sure about the 00s version, might have been Asda again.

From UK Gameshows:

Quote:
The prices and products all came from licensed supermarkets with the first series from Asda, the second series from Co-op and Somerfield from the third series onwards.

Now that Product Placement is permitted, I'm guessing that brand names will be shown on product labels, unlike before where they got covered up.

I'm probably being monumentally thick here... I obviously realise that Dale means Mr Winton, but don't know whom the "Bobby" you're referring to is.

Confused

Bobby Bragg, who did the voiceovers.

If there is a new version of the theme we'll never hear it because like all of ITV's game show formats we'll have the audience clapping and cheering all over it as soon as it starts.
