I remember watching Supergran regularly in 1987 when I was 7. To be honest, I thought some of the episodes were a bit daft even when I was that young, although I used to think the stunts looked fantastic. Although it was mainly series 2 I saw, I remember an episode with Geoff Capes where Supergran lost her powers, I have found out this was series 1, so I'm not sure if the first series was repeated when the second series finished.
Something odd that really sticks in my mind is from when series 2 was repeated in 1989. I didn't enjoy Supergran as much 2 years later, but I always remember that the Tyne Tees logo at the end was a new version and it read (c) MCMLXXXIX. But these were repeats first shown 2 years before, so I can't understand why Tyne Tees would add a new logo with the current year? I never knew any other ITV company to change dates on repeats and in fact at the end of one episode, I remember the new Tyne Tees logo went off quickly with the more familiar blue and yellow logo appearing for a second reading (c) Tyne Tees Television MCMLXXXVI.
I have posted a link to TV Ark showing the Tyne Tees logo I mentioned. I only ever remember seeing it on the 1989 Supergran repeats as I can't remember many Tyne Tees programmes being networked.
