"Sunday is the new Friday"

Whilst it's nice to see the show back, I personally feel it was a ridiculous decision to move it to Sundays. These kind of shows are designed to make you feel good about the fact the weekend is here, and now their welcoming traditionally the worst day of the week.

You may have seen the adverts when BB started last night, and I was hoping it was a one-off, but by the looks of it, Friday nights will no longer exist with Justin and Alan. I hope it pulls through anyway...

AFAIK it has only been moved to Sunday nights to make way for the Big Brother Evictions on C4.

It's good it has been moved to Sunday, because there is bugger all else on on a Sunday night to make you actually want to get up on the Monday morning!

Agree with you on this. I do hope they get some more high profile guests this series instead of last series which mostly consisted of Z listed americans.

I don't get it - it has almost always co-existed with the Friday evictions. What has changed?

I think it's because channel 4 wanted some entertainment on Sunday night because Sunday tv was boring Cool

It's all Coronation Street's fault, but it is a bad move IMO.

It's really making way for Eight out of Ten Cats more than anything, which is probably beyond it's best now, and I think most viewers would prefer the FNP partnered with BB.

I suspect it'll be back in it's Friday Slot for the next series whenever that may be.

Alan Carr was on the POG Show. He said because of Big Brother they were offered either 11.15pm Friday Nights or 10pm Sunday's. He seemed quite happy to move to Sundays because - and I quote - "For the first time we'll have a sober audience" . I'm sure he'll soon change his mind when those sober viewers suddenly realise what a big pile of sh*te the the show actually is and turn off. Rolling Eyes

Don't forget Charlotte Church is back in July for her Friday night series.

I wonder if that'll move to Sundays as well though.

It's not rubbish the programme.

I am annoyed it's moving so I'll have to record it and watch it the next weekend to be in the right frame of mind.

I only started watching last series and the Big Brother special and I think it is hilarious and the effort they put into the production is extraordinary - Justin was on Steve Wright yesterday saying it'll stay the same format so I hope it doesn't change the sheer genius of their work

I was opposed to the idea at first, more because SNP doesn't roll off the tongue as good as FNP, but Sunday night viewing isn't that great atm so maybe it will be a good addition.
