Totally dominates its slot which is why ITV have launched Saturday Cookbook at 8.30 am. It's made by the same company as Sk and is their first Saturday Cookery show since the 'Saturday Cooks' flop/debacle.
According to Broadcast who gave no specifics the show isn't doing very well against Weekend Breakfast.

I dont have access to Sunday Brunch ratings, sorry.

Yes, cookery shows have replaced the big live children's shows as the de facto Saturday morning entertainment.

I wonder who will be first to bring out a morning show based around the other 70s. Sort of like The Big Breakfast, but in an old people's home?

The show is gradually getting longer - from 2 hours originally to 2 hours 10 minutes a fortnight ago, 2 hours 15 minutes last week and now 2 hours 30 minutes.

I know they have to have commercials, but it seems they see a programme doing well and the deliberately extend it so they can add some more commercials in. Big Brother and Deal or No Deal spring to mind.

when I watched it the other week it never felt like anything was rushed etc, and there was plenty of time for everything.

Interesting that Sharon Horgan swore three separate times on Sunday Brunch this morning. There was a bloody and two sh*ts.

The interesting and refreshing part is that it was treated as a joke rather than the presenters being told to act like she had just murdered someone which seems to be the accepted reaction on television nowadays.

She swore three times? I only heard the first utterance. Yeah it was a bit of a half-assed apology the first one. Almost like they were making fun of the viewers who are shocked and complain.

Well todays episode must be the longest one, yet a massive 2 hours and 50 minutes (and that's not taking into account that it usually start at 9:58am and not 10am!)
