Has nobody else been watching this? You've missed out!

The set has a dotmatrix coloured Channel 4 sign in the colours of the original C4 logo, rotating the colours between each 'block'. A nice surprise! You can see it at the very beginning of the show.

It looks very nice. Does anyone know where I can buy one for my living room?

Am I right to assume this is the same studio in that shopping centre that they used for Something for the Weekend (or STFU as I believe it was called on this forum)?

Well it's got the same view with the grid over the windows, so I think so. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who kept mixing up SFTW with STFU when reading the title of that thread!

Yes. Quite seriously, if you want to go to a signmaker with a vector copy of the logo and have them cut out the shape of the 4 from perspex, I will supply you with the LED components and the control to drive the colour change. Something like this would work

Unless you're just *saying* and have no real intention to spend money.

But you're not that guy who just says stuff on forums for the sake of it - I'm sure you're not. People hate those guys.

Talking about getting things mixed up. I'm wondering how long it will be before Lovejoy or Rimmer give out www.channel4.com/somethingfortheweekend. Maybe not in the first week, but once they relax a bit I wouldn't be surprised to hear it.

If I was the Channel 4 webmaster, I would put something there now.

Oh, money and effort? Maybe I won't bother then. Thanks anyway.

It definitely is the same studio - just redecorated a bit and now in HD, although I've only seen a few moments of the show in HD this morning. On SD, you can clearly see the kitchen workspace is just wood painted, so I'm not sure how bad that will look in HD!

The studio belongs to Princess Productions and is in Whitleys in Bayswater. The same studio that The Wright Stuff comes from during the week

That studio was originally set up for RISE (mkII) as I recall?

They cover up the windows on the Wright Stuff set now though IIRC.

Lucky then that C4's show of the same name from the late 1990s didn't have a website as people would find themselves at quite a different site.

Talking about Channel 4 sites from the 90s...
