You need to read the Facebook page of STV2, the one thing that got everyone with pick forks out is Take the high road and the demends it get put back on weekdays afternoons.

With the idents, you need your ispy glasses out if you want to see Long Aberdeen and Travel idents. While Sport clubs still gets used every weekday at 19.30.

Here is the love/relationship ident, which does pop up often.

Could STV have the worst promos department in British television? That one with the guy singing the channel numbers is unbareable and there's been plenty of other woeful efforts from STV on this forum.

STV2 schedule shows an election night programme. Are they simulcasting STV's programme on STV2, or perhaps simulcasting ITV's programme? There isn't any detail in the listings I see.

As far as I know, they're simulcasting STV's programme.

OT question: am I correct in saying that local TV channels are allowed to show more ads than the "normal" channels? (e.g. go beyond the 12-minutes limit)

I dont think so, but STV2 has slight problem with certain programmes, like the Current Taggart which was originally 90min but has been spilt in two = 45mins but of course 5min news, there need to be padding.
