STV2

I can't see any mention of what the local output will be on each of the licences. Presumably there still has to be some?

Has STV Edinburgh stopped additional local news - the schedule always say STV News Glasgow for the 8pm and 10pm airings.

I guess the current simulcast line up of STV Edinburgh and Glasgow is a strong indicator of what STV2 will look like. Although I do think the best way for local channels to work is on a regional level with local opts within the region other than news there doesn't seem to be anything specifically local to the cities on either STV Edinburgh or Glasgow at the moment.

I see they've left CAPS LOCK on again:

Yeah, nothing unusual about block capital programme names at all.

My complaint is that STV use BLOCK CAPS UNDERLINED all over the place on promos, bumpers, menus etc. and it's not that pleasing on the eye. To me, it always looks like the font is just a bit too big, FORCEFUL and SHOUTY.

If the TONIGHT was slotted under News it would look much better.

But that's their font and branding, just like Channel 5 had block caps years ago as part of their package at the time. I don't get what's offensive about it.

And boring. Should've made the 2 the same font as the rest of the logo.

Bet they paid tens of thousands for that.

I doubt that, STV locals uses Unis, so maybe a under grad created it
