IF STV went to ITV

There a number of Key Question that must be asked:

Why would ITV want 3.3million viewer in 2 areas? While there have Tyne tees which probably has double that!

Would it benefit ITV controlling these channel

Or could STV profit make ITV change it direction to start making money the STV way?

The point is the amount of roomer, speculation, it all good and well, but does it matter?

If ITV did get control of STV? There a very good chance there might KEEP the STV name, that brand is stronger in Scotland, especial with it going back to STV.

Would it just be a name change? Would ITV do anything with good for viewer? One thing for sure weirs way will be scarped at night times

But I’m sure ITV is coping STV!!!! Look at the lunchtime news, it look just like the original lunchtime Scotland today, with a phone, debate, health matter.

What comes down it is a NAME? Is that all? 3 little letters and Scottish voice

They didnt keep the HTV name though despite it being a strong brand in Wales and the West

if there did sell there might have that as a clas!!!!

It's pretty bloody insane to suggest that ITV would even consider keeping the STV name if they bought SMG! ITV PLC is obsessed with branding and would want to have the ITV1 brand in all its regions. Simple.
