I see that STV have a new look to their promos breakbumper and news ident, they are exactly the same style as the ITV 1 look now without ITV 1on the graphics the cheap looking blue and white has gone from the promos thank god it looks much better .Still no station branding on the promos though obviously going to Grampian too.Interesting someone did say on here a few weeks back that SMG had given notice to all their promo producers except one and would be taking the NPU trailers from January .The ident into the news has changed slightly the daytime one is the same that was broadcast at around 11 am but at midday the ident into headlines from ITV news was exactly the same style and animated format as the ITV 1 news ident it looks good actually .

You have waffled on a bit, but from what I can gather, the trailers are the same as ITV1, but have the 4 blue boxes instead. The breakbumpers are the same as network but have Scottish and Grampian instead.
As for idents, what do you mean about the daytime one?? The daytime clouds that STV always use or is that gone now?? And now they have the same ident as itv1, but saying Scottish and Grampian. Is it the blue or yellow version, the ident thats like the ITV1 one?
I saw a very quick Scottish breakbumper before. It does look good, but is the logo much smaller than the ITV1 logo? I think it looks too small. Would stand out more if it was a little bigger.
The 'News' ident was ok too. I see its the 'Blue' network version they they have used. So no yellow one at all on STV then?? Using the SMG music on the ident is quite good too!

Well there isn't a yellow one on the network is there, it was dropped on Day 1 for some reason I think

And this is why I was a little confused. Saying the daytime one is the same as the one broadcast at 11am, well I did not see 11am, so how are me and others who did not see the 11am ident supposed to know "the daytime one was the same as the one broadcast at 11".
I thought you meant a new daytime one was broadcast at 11, and now the daytime one for STV is as the 11am one and not as the old clouds one.

I think STV/Grampian must now have 3 news idents then. The daytime long clouds, the short black one and the short blue one like network. Is there a long version or just a short version? What about the ident with the black beckground? Was there ever a long version of that at STV, as I have only seen the short one.
