STV Main Thread:

There have at last updated the I'm celeb ident. First time in a couple of years.

That was a strange new promo style just now for corrie.

I see last year's second 'X Factor' ident has reappeared this year - complete with the black bar across the top, and in glorious SD on HD.

There have changed it again, I wasnt 100% Alas it has those nasty black lines at the top again...

Whenever the STV 'Join in the chat' twitter graphic appears over Im a Celeb. Shortly after the video cuts forward maybe 1 second so you miss a word of dialogue sometimes. I assume this is STV cutting between their feed and the national feed? It's quite annoying!

There is only one feed, it will be trouble at ITV ends.

The same sort of issue BBC network used to have with a delay introduced when switching to the DVE for the ECP?

Theres an example of what I mean. The picture visibly jumps back in time just before the STV graphic, then we loose some speech when afterwards resulting in an incomplete sentence.

That a strange one, When its UK shows its doesnt do that

It’s always jumped before and after the on screen graphics, and before the ECP, just not as bad as that.

Why would it be that bad. I know the ecp can be iffy, but if u watch s factor or snt you don't really notice it.

Surprised its been a problem for so long. When it starts impeaching on the program by cutting words out it needs fixed. Maybe I should tweet them about it.
