I think it better to give the series a rest, at least Challenge are showing epsoides. I wish it was six weeks for Paul O'grady,.

STV debate will take place next Tuesday, alas that does mean the soap awards will be axed. I doubt there will broadcast as it would only get a 2 hours slot at 11.15pm? any point?
I'm going to assume STV will have to go ahead with the debate on the Tuesday - cancelling it to make way for The Soap Awards would cause all sort of political backlash. They may well show it another day, possibly suggesting people can watch it on the website if they want? In theory they have an STV2 now but as those are technically local channels I don't know how much leeway they have to show non-Scottish programming (and whether their agreement with ITV would cover such an eventuality).

I believe the debate was booked for that slot before all the other changes took place. STV2 broadcast Faircity..
There is no debate scheduled on STV on Tuesday - both Digiguide and the STV website still have Midsomer Murders schedules, so they should just be able to follow the ITV schedule.
Slot 'warmers' for The Chase haven't been that sucessful. Either they've died after one series (even if ITV promote it as a 10/20 episode pilot try-out) or come back as Tipping Point's slot warmer whilst that is on a break.
From what I've seen from the format distributers 'showreel' for this, it's another variant of 'pick something in front of you at random and see what it contains which is then removed from available prizes in the game' - so, think of this as Deal Or No Deal with Russian dolls rather than red boxes from Rymans.
Of course The Chase was a slot 'warmer' for Golden Balls when that had a break. It was tried out along with 'The Fuse' with Austin Healey which had good music and graphics but the format was flawed and Austin was quite wooden.
These 'tryouts' can work if the format is good enough. However recently they haven't come up with anything innovative or different which tends for them to fail.

WELL that a turn up for the books! There is a FULL length version BGT ident... why wait till the last day to use it...
It was used earlier this week, but was cut off before the final form up. Annoyingly, it's the only one of the three not to be shown in true HD - just upscaled SD.

I dont know what STV are playing at off late, with idents cutting off at the start or end of programme idents.
