That another new ident. which also contain sections from original set and I believe STV local channels but with added new bit. That worded well.

It seems the fourth new ident is just people Smiling. Just to say I made a mistake the ident I say on Friday night at 00.50 isnt new its just hardly ever used.

How do you mean? As i said BGT idents was the only one in town yesterday,( bar the news and that always uses the same ident into) So today is the next day anything would have been used.

You have to remember at this moment of time, there is 24 idents from the June 14 set still being used, plus 3 Spring idents. ( if you wonder where the other 6 comes into the play there super short idents last second. TV live doesn't have any copies uploaded ) So there 27 idents, before we add in the new sets being created, and today well there isnt enough programmes to broadcast all the idents in one day.

Smiling people ident was never seen on Friday but has appeared today, there is also a short suffer ident but I can't prove its part of the original set or brand new.

And remember long Song and Dance is one of those rare idents which only appears every so often

A Super-Puma helicopter (like the one in the ident) crashed in Norway on Tuesday, killing all on board.

It just been used just now so its still being used. Its possible it was kept off yesterday as mark of respect.

That's quite a few new idents, plus a surfing one not on TV Live. Noticed that some of the clips are on the local idents and other STV idents.

Ident Gallery has found 5 of the short idents, I have yet to see Campers short. All five come from the original set created.

Were now up to six, karaoke bar. Im SURE some of these short idents were first created as part of original set but were rarely used, some are clearly news.

From what I can see, the medium length ident have all be taken out of action, just leaving the full lenght and short version to be kept in use. Hence the reason a number of new full length ident have been brought into action. ( two of the idents haven;t been repeated since Sunday or Monday)

It will be interesting to see if the medium idents come back into use.

Interesting choice of backdrop for STV's election programme - very "ITV News".
