STV Main Thread:

Yeah Peter MacMahon who is ITV Border's Political Editor has been involved in a fair few of the STV Programmes.

Most likely he's involved as the programmes are also sometimes broadcast on ITV Border Scot...

There was a new BGT idents and of course there is 3 versions of it.

I've not seen any comments on it elsewhere, but it appears STV has a new set of idents which can only be described as 'people idents'. So far I've see one featuring helicopter pilots and one featuring Steel workers.

Ah yes! People! You know people, right? People just like you and me! Look, this one has a job. And this one wears clothes and has a face!

It would seem these really have just popped up this week. There seemed to have replaced the Spring ident. I wonder if there is a third people ident. Maybe A chippy

There is third ident, NO Idea what its about but its full of people. it has different music to the above two. It reminds me of the STV local idents.

The Spring ident has been used at least twice today, so they haven't replaced them.

Thats even better, You need to have eyes like owl right now,

We have a fourth new ident, I think its surfer, it look like its the short version. So we have at least four new idents and of those each must have long, med and short versions.

I just caught the start of Tomorrow Never Dies tonight and saw a sort surfers ident. I thought it looked new. Are these 'proper' idents? Not still pictures like those hideous programme idents.

Remember it will be all bgt idents today.

Just watched the 2 videos above and see they're actual idents. They're OK, not as good as the original 6, but a welcome addition none the less.
