Why?

There went to Manchester to get the views of the English, on stuff.

Has anyone spotted the short Rugby world cup ident? Mind you I never seen the X factor short ident either. Corrie short ident does still pop up every so often mind.

The Autumn idents are now in use, I don't think there is a change from last year BUT I have yet to see the long or super short version.

Interesting technical fault during Tipping Point today. Mum had recorded it on Sky +, and at one point, the contestant was oing to give an answer, and for several seconds it looped on itself. During the looping, as well as the STV dog being present on screen, so was the ITV dog. After it went back to normal, the ITV dog disappeared.

Also happened during Sunday's X Factor

Thats the Downton Abbey back in use, Im sure it has changed.

STV are now showing a sort of Nightshift/ITV Nightscreen mashup called 'After Midnight'.

Its just like the STV local Channels news service at the weekends.

"After Midnight" is a decent enough service, but should be used as a replacement for ITV Nightscreen instead, and allow "proper" programmes to air beforehand.

IF there add in a voice over and a few other non seen on TV for 20 years classic clips it could be a proper replacement for the nightshift. There dont need VO on all night maybe just 00.00 - 3am. I do think there needs some films etc
