I haven't see this posted elsewhere so here goes.

I watched the start of BBC News at 10 switched over to STV and there was a blue slide up Scottish TV and some music playing. Not sure how long this was going on i only caught it for a few secs and they went to the break .However going into the next programme the announcer did say sorry more of half hearted one actully saying "Well we're sorry for the loss of Bad Lads Army there " but now blah blah not sure if they actually came on during the breakdown .Did this happen on ITV 1 or was it just STV?.

Hi Lewis,

The breakdown happened about 5 minutes prior to the end of Bad Lad's Army.

Initially a black screen with the old STV logo (square as opposed to rectangle) appeared which quickly faded away to bring on the new rectangular logo with the the 4 blue boxes faded behind it. The music came on after about a minute after the breakdown.

Oh and the announcer didnt mention bad lads army - the announcement was simply:

"Well we seem to be experiencing a technical hitch with the programme, we hope to return to it shortly" - I was loving the phrase "technical hitch".

On Wednesday night from about 9.00pm on Analogue and Digital Satellite anyway, Grampian TV was being shown instead of Scottish TV. I only realised because I saw Grampian break bumpers and idents.

It still hadn't been sorted for the start of the ITV News because we got the North Tonight headlines at 10.30pm. During the break in the ITV News we still had the Grampian TV breakbumper. But all had returned to normal for Scotland Today at about 10.50pm.

Anyone else notice this?

Yes I saw it as well. I also noticed it one morning a few weeks ago and initially thought that sky had changed my region like they are doing in some parts of England as I am on the border of the Scottish and Grampian transmission area.
