For the past few days now the promos running for STV in what was once the Grampian region have had no sound.........does anyone at STV monitor the output of the station???

Assuming both are analogue, that could imply that the NICAM sound is absent but the mono sound is.

Just seen a Sharon Osbourne Show promo, and the sound seemed all right.

Obviously not. The sound problems are still continuing today, one week after they began. Name any other broadcaster that would allow this to continue for so long.
SMG continuity hinges on one female announcer who appears to be on duty 24/7/365, and is so boring, with the ‘altogether’ catchphrase still being repeatedly used, three months after it was introduced.
BTW, the new signs have been erected at Grampian HQ, and the stv.tv is so small it is barely visible, even when you are only one metre away from them, and they look really cheap.

And which is not strictly true either since SMG don't cover southern Scotland.
