Thanks for the cap. Don't like that ecp - although I'm sure it looks better on screen. Overall though, great rebrand.

That ECP really does look like something which would get laughed out of the mock designs forum. Do they do the same with the likes of Corrie too with the lower fifth ECP?

Really don't like the end cap on the trailers either - it looks rather amateurish, and the font isn't that great either.

I actually like the ECP. For me, it works. Not too dissimilar, same font, it really does work for me.

Except that you can't read the credits?

ECP aside (bloody hell) this looks a nice package. A truly local feeling but strong identity. Just when you thought all that stuff had disappeared. It feels like the old days again! In fact I'm a general fan of Scottish TV's pres. The 2000 set in my opinion was great, very different for the time, and (apart from their dabbling with ITV's generic celebrity prancing) they have retained a sense of identity. Nice to see.

I'm stil not *completely* sold on the idents - mainly because I find the transition from fairly well-shot footage into Blackberry advert-esque stock photos a bit jarring for the flipbook sequence.

That has to be the most pointless ECPs ever! Surely it wouldn't take that much effort to incorporate the lower third design? Credits are unreadable.

Im starting to hate Viewpoint ! it seems to be used all over the place!
