A perfect example of why you should always wait to see a logo on screen before forming an opinion on it. The use of the triangle is extremely clever, particularly during the news.
Its the first time STV (proper) have been able to make use of the St Andrew's cross - it having been Grampian's property for so many decades.

I think this one is my favourite (rather than the other 'socialising' one with the dancing), the music is very upbeat and the images have that feel-good factor.
. Would be good if they make some more idents, cause 6 is likely to get a bit boring after a while.
