OK, it was just a thought! Embarassed

What broom cupboard did they come from? I did'nt know there was one in existance anymore.

There isn't, I said it was like coming from the broom cupboard because the broom cupboard was essentially the continuity booth. I thought the announcer did alright really. The bigger question, why was I watching BBC 1 leading into neighbours anyway??? Embarassed

I normally miss it.

Aren't I lucky !

BTW, does anyone bother with Home & Away thesedays since it moved from ITV to 5 ?

I don't.

Maybe you were watching the 'talent' that features on CBBC on One. I can't think of any other reason.... i mean you wouldn't be wanting to watch Neighbours???

Well you could do a lot worse than Neighbours and I'd certainly challange anyone who isn't particularly a fan to watch it at present as the new producer has finally started to make his mark and the result is fantastic television in my opinion.

Anyone got any video clips of the breakdown?

Well it worked perfectly well between 1965 and 1985 - and didn't stop the most important thing - the programmes - commanding high audiences...
