We had a technical fault caption after todays Call the Shots. They had a CBBC fault caption with music and BBC One anno filling then linking into newsround then after a trail a still karate bug with her saying here's fame academy; and has just linked out with the same still saying they're back on monday; neighbours is next and then cut into the end ident.
No sound in Studio 9 after Call the Shots so i presume that was the problem - lack of sound . First time CBBC has come from the Broom cupboard in years
Well, the sound went down anyhow. That wasn't handled very well, was it? Is that still really the best they can do? (And please, announcers, don't try to put on a cheery, down-wit'-da-kids voice, it sounds really patronising.)

But you are a grown woman aren't you - obviously you're going to find it patronising. 10 year old kids I doubt will be particularly bothered.

What broom cupboard did they come from? I did'nt know there was one in existance anymore.
There isn't, I said it was like coming from the broom cupboard because the broom cupboard was essentially the continuity booth. I thought the announcer did alright really. The bigger question, why was I watching BBC 1 leading into neighbours anyway???
