Stuart Flinders on North West Tonight

Stuart Flinders presented North West Tonight this evening. He is a big Bolton Wanderers fan, and they are top of the Premier League at the moment. Well did he rub it in?! He said Bolton are top about 5 times. At the end of the programme, when he and Dianne were sat at the desk, he asked her whether she was in the studio when he said Bolton were top of the league. She said everybody heard him. But, Stuart showed us the table again and carried on until we rejoined London saying how Bolton were top! Someone help him!

Deary me, Stuart, when will you learn that it won't last!

He's good on NWT though, isn't he? I saw him a few months ago in Preston covering the Harold Shipman trial.

Yes he is great on North West Tonight - especially when he's in the studio presenting. Tony Morris is good too, but my favourite is when Martin presents the main programmes, whihc is not very often. I wonder why Nigel Jay never does?

Not sure! He did the lunchtime one not long ago, and to be honest, I don't think he was really suited to it. He's better at shorter breakfast bulletins I think.

Tony is good, yes, he's improved a hell of a lot. He seemed a bit nervous and a bit fake at first, but he's getting into it now!
