Online article suggests Tess will assume Bruce's responsibilities - wonder if they will put someone else backstage (it could be tricky if Tess has to move with them...)

Putting Claudia backstage would be a smart move.

She's utterly brilliant on ITT.

Hope that's what they do - and I sincerely hope Brucie's flu passes quickly.

Hopefully he'll be back soon, it'll be nice to see him, to see him...

(I'll get my coat.)

Lucky for the show that this wasn't last week as Bruce Forsyth was singing then and Tess Daly may not have been able to stand in for his singing role too.

There's usually plenty of previous contestants in the studio audience anyway, including some with presenting experience, so I expect they'll be able to grab someone to do Tess' backstage bits.

"Tess will be front of house with the judges and I will be helping out." - Claudia Winkleman.

...with Ronnie Corbett?

"Tess Daly is joined by Ronnie Corbett and Claudia Winkleman to present the popular dance competition, which steps up a gear as the remaining couples head back to London to take to the dance floor, performing either a ballroom or Latin dance." - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00nzxbr

Not the first name that springs to mind but he has presented Small Talk before so he is not brand new to presenting. I'm looking forward to tonights show.

My EPG says that it'll be Paul O' Grady instead of Ronnie Corbett, and it's literally word for word to above, it says Paul O' Grady instead.

What platform are you on?

The Sky EPG and the BBC website both say Ronnie Corbett.

Looks like I had a lucky guess with Claudia backstage (though it was the obvious sensible move!) Claudia knows the show inside out, and knows the celebs and their professional partners from It Takes Two.

(So far I think Claudia is doing the backstage stuff a LOT better than Tess usually does... But that wouldn't be difficult...)

I guess it would have been Vernon, had he not been contracted to ITV.
