OK, all the GMG North stations plus Anglia were due to get 'When Stunts go Wrong' or some such American rubbish.

At the last minute the Sky guides for the GMG North channels changed to show that in fact they were showing a debate programme hosted by Alexi Sayle.

But, only Tyne Tees actually showed it. I am assuming that it's an LWT regional programme because it was also on LWT, and was based in Reading, LWT territory unless I'm mistaken.

The other GMG North stations actually did show the American junk, as planned.

Now, what I want to know is, why? This programme had nothing to do with the North East. Why on earth would they change the schedules at the last minute to match LWT in one GMG North region only, when the programme had no specific importance to the North East? The 'Strangers' filler (more US crap) was also shown as per LWT, at 12.20.

What the flippin 'eck is going on here?

It's all perfectly simple, all other GMG stations showed the Alexi Sayle programme earlier in the week when Tyne Tees was showing Worthington Cup highlights.

So Tyne Tees got it tonight instead, along with the London region, as they wouldn't have seen it either.

OK fair enough, it was the Sky EPG balls-up that got me confused...

Digiguide also said, all the GMG North regions would get 'Ask the Professor' and 'Strangers' too!

Also, according to Digiguide, all GMG North were getting 'Granada Soccer Night' on Tuesday, but in fact, this only applied to Granada and Border.
